The Pursuit of History™ is the non-profit organization that engages adults in conversation about history and connects them with historic sites in their communities and across the country through innovative in-person and online programming. In-person annual events include History Camp Boston (the first, started in 2014), History Camp Colorado, History Camp Virginia, and History Camp Philadelphia.

Every Thursday night at 8 pm (Eastern) we hold a live discussion with a noted author or historian. On August 1, 2020 we presented America’s Summer Roadtrip from 9 am to 9 pm, with tours of 12 historic sites and Q&A with the staff.

On Saturday, July 10, 2021, we will hold History Camp America, our first nationwide History Camp, which will include more than 25 sessions and a half-dozen tours of historic sites across the country.

We create and present these innovative programs because we believe that more people gaining a broader understanding of history has never been more important. Please join us in The Pursuit of History.
