Celebrating ten years of History Camp

When I started History Camp there was no organization of any kind and no plan that History Camp would be an annual event. After the first one sold out, I decided to do another the following year. Over time, History Camp Boston expanded and History Camps were held in other cities. In 2019, Carrie Lund and I co-founded the non-profit organization The Pursuit of History to manage and expand History Camp further. When the world shut down in 2020, we launched new online programs that continue to this day.

John Bell was the first person I approached in the fall of 2013 about creating History Camp. Sam Forman was the second. They have both been extremely supportive at every step of the way and today serve on the board of The Pursuit of History along with fellow board members, Michael Shire and Rose Doherty.
