America’s Summer Roadtrip

The Pursuit of History puts on annual History Camps that bring together people from all walks of life for a day of learning and sharing.

When we had to cancel this year’s, some of our History Camp faithful urged us to consider moving the event online. Then we realized that there was something completely new we could do that would transport people to some great historic sites, especially in this year when many are staying closer to home: America’s Summer Roadtrip.

On America’s Summer Roadtrip people will learn more about some of America’s great sites and discover ones to visit in the years to come.  Participating sites are also fulfilling their mission and reaching new potential viewers and visitors.

America’s Summer Roadtrip will take place on August 1, 2020 from 9am to 9pm Eastern at AmericasSummerRoadtrip.org.  Each hour, one livestream tour will take you to a historic site where you’ll get a tour that includes a special behind the scenes bonus that you wouldn’t get to see if you were there in person.

We hope you’ll join us and after you watch the tours from these notable sites, we hope you’ll visit them – whether that’s this year or in the coming years.
